This is kind of a timeline of my life in music

My first guitar for Christmas. That is the "little" G I'm playing with the wrong finger.

I must have liked it. How about that tassel on the guitar neck, and a whole C chord.

My cousin Bill was the first "real" musician I knew. I'm playing my '59 Gibson J50, and Bill has a Gibson ES-125, pretty valuable today. I was probably 15 yrs. old, and this was a pretty serious jam.

Herb Rose (left) was my partner in a bunch of groups and we stayed in touch even after I ventured into Television. I was 18 and we did this picture for a gig in Gallipolis Ohio.

PBS was always my favorite. I worked there as a producer too. This is from the 1975 PBS Show "Nooks and Crannies". The whole clip is on the "Me and the Guitar" page.
